The Temple of the High Country will be lighting the Yahrzeit plaque at our Temple in memory of your loved one.  This occurs the beginning of the previous evening.  The lighting corresponds to the Hebrew date.  It is customary that Yahrzeit observances traditionally entail the kindling of a Yahrzeit candle and saying the Mourner's Kaddish on the preceding evening at a synagogue or at home.  You may also wish to make a donation to a charity of your choice in memory of your loved one.  May the memory of the departed be for a blessing.

The TOHC Sisterhood sells Yahrzeit candles at the temple.  Please call the office to make sure it is open for you.
