Join us as our special guest, Rabbi Aron Hier, from the Simon Wiesenthal Center,  leads Friday night services.  This will be a wonderful evening for all.

Join us for a pot luck dinner to welcome back our Hillel Students.  Dinner is at 6:00 PM followed by weekly Friday night services.

Aug 29 Annual Picnic
Location: Wildcat Lake, Banner Elk
Time: 11:00 AM
 

Come to our annual picnic organized by the Temple of the High Country and the High Country Havurah.   We will meet at Wildcat Lake from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.....we will have plenty of time to get to the film festival that afternoon.   Bring your own lunch and drinks and watermelon will be provided.   This is always a fun day!

Turn at the Millpond in Banner Elk on to Hickory Nut Gap and go straight.  Wildcat lake will be on your right.......
