Dr. Conrad Oswalt is a Professor at Appalachian State University and the Chairperson of the Department of Religion and Philosophy. His topic will be....Unexpected and Unusual Religious Occurences in Western NC.

Join us as our special guest, Rabbi Aron Hier, from the Simon Wiesenthal Center,  leads Friday night services.  This will be a wonderful evening for all.

Join us for a pot luck dinner to welcome back our Hillel Students.  Dinner is at 6:00 PM followed by weekly Friday night services.

Come to our annual picnic organized by the Temple of the High Country and the High Country Havurah.   We will meet at Wildcat Lake from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.....we will have plenty of time to get to the film festival that afternoon.   Bring your own lunch and drinks and watermelon will be provided.   This is always a fun day!

Turn at the Millpond in Banner Elk on to Hickory Nut Gap and go straight.  Wildcat lake will be on your right.......
