Sisterhood

Our TOHC Sisterhood is a growing, strong and integral part of our temple community. Please join us in getting together with women of all ages...Our programs are educational, social, spiritual and just plain fun.
We welcome all new members and we are always looking for new ideas for programs. For more information please call Leigh Girard at 828-264-2557.

Dues are only $18.00 and should be sent to Leigh Girard at 500 Appalachian Drive, Boone NC 28607 . Dues should be made to THC Sisterhood

Our hospitality chairperson is Zodie Powers, who coordinates all Oneg Shabbats. If you are interested in hosting an Oneg, please call Zodie at 828-297-1681. If you would like to sponsor an Oneg, please make a minimum of $18 donation.

Sisterhood is Creating a Temple of the High Country Cookbook..We need your RECIPES....Please send any recipes to Erika Siegel.... erikasiegel07@yahoo.com or Marilyn Ramo.... daisyramo@aol.com. Call Leigh Girard at 264-2557 for more information. If there is a story that goes along with your recipe, please include it. We are very excited about this project.

Every month, the Sisterhood of the Temple of the High Country will participate in a collection and distribution for various agencies in the county. This is part of our mitzvah project. Please tell all of your friends and neighbors to help you in your collections. Our sisterhood is alligned with the High Country Womens Fund in organizing and disbursing these collections. We are excited about working with this most important agency. At this time, we are collecting warm coats, hats, gloves and scarves for the winter. Please bring these items to services. In addition, we are collecting children's books, which can be brought to the Children's Council. Thank you for helping,.
